Local paper coverage of Cabello book signing (5/7/17)

You can read the full report HERE.

I’ve requested a few corrections which haven’t been made yet but, for clarity, my last name is Menezes Cunningham, not Cunningham, I’ve been a freelance journalist since 2004 but am not a ‘trained’ journalist. Also, I worked IN publishing many, many moons ago as a senior editor, not a publisher. White Owl, Pen & Sword’s new health and wellbeing imprint (I was the first author they commissioned on it) are my publisher.

365 Ways to Feel Better book signing at Cabello, Witham

Thanks so much to everyone who came to my Witham book signing this evening. Here are some of my favourite pics:

Enormous thanks to Kat Berale (aka my favourite hairdresser - she knows me and looks at whatever pic I've brought saying I want to recreate and say, 'No. You don't own a hairdryer, you need something more like...' Bless her :)

Signing a book - this evening, I rediscovered the wonderful invention that is the biro. Before this month, I'd never signed a book I'd written before but all the ones I've done these past couple of weeks have been with colourful markers - biro doesn't take so long to dry - #revolutionary

With the fantabulous Emma Turnbull of Goddess Yoga and Radiant Health Ayurveda (aka my favourite yoga teacher who makes me really want to learn to drive so I can do more of her classes) - some of her advice on working with mudras (hand yoga) is included in the book

Special appearance by Hudson the wonderdog, appreciating (as did all who bought a copy) Amy Brennan Whittington's lovely designs and postcard bookmarks

Recreating the raffle draw (I forgot to ask for a pic to be taken during the actual raffle). Congratulations to Jacqui!

Last week’s launch party of 365 Ways to Feel Better at London’s Coliseum (part 2)

I’ve received the rest of the photos from last week so, thanks again to all who came and all who wanted to and all who’ve been so supportive. And special thanks to Kathie Bishop for organising it and Mae and Imi for selling lots of books! And… so many people. So ¬†happy and grateful :)

In the run up, any time I felt a bit anxious about the launch party, I'd remind myself that there would be ice cream. I hadn't anticipated the heat wave and it was an even better idea than we'd thought

And for local (to Witham, Essex) people, am doing a book signing at Cabello Hair and Beauty of Friday from 6-7pm so maybe I’ll see some of you there.
